Hartford’s Best College Radio 2018!

 Thanks to our staff, listeners, family and friends for recognizing WESU as The Best College Radio Station in the CTNOW Hartford Readers’ Poll, 2018! This achievement is a testament to the service we provide and we are honored by this recognition.

Community engagement has enabled WESU to expand the service we provide to listeners throughout the CT river Valley and beyond. Listener support has nurtured this growth and as a result the programming we provide is as diverse as the communities we serve.

While listening to WESU is free, we depend on listeners like you to help cover roughly 1/3rd of our annual budget.  So far, we have raised enough money to cover our operating costs but we are coming up short on our next payment for out new FM transmitter.
