  • Spring pledge drive? Should we begin planning

    • We need to enforce the disclaimer’s need to be read on air IF you will be presenting opinions
  • Email from ASHA: Math Magazine (body/sexuality magainze) having a workshop here next month

Website – great work Cormac – still need streaming audio player, what else?

Budget – Babe/Beth – we need to get together to talk purchasing per our SBC budget

Training – identify and update final changes to test/curriculum? Also we should not be propping those back doors open.  It is much safer to prop the front bottom level door open and let trainees in through the door across from my office.

Board legacy documents – everyone should keep working on job descriptions/note for next gen board members.

Elections: time to start sorting out next year’s board prospects. Who wants to continue? Same position or something new? What positions will be vacant?

SP 18 Pledge drive – to start around April 16ish?

Production:  Please get some PSAs and Promos on CDs for the studio as requested by DJs. Perhaps make 1 or 2 “data” cds that have a whole bunch of PSAs as mp3 files. Data CDs take longer to load but our cd players display the track titles…  I also recommend making some “Audio” CDs that only have a few specific tracks that are labeled on the outside of the CD. “Audio CDs load much faster in the CD players but will not display track names… Maybe make some CDs that have the same contents of some of the folders on the computer, like “local and priority” etc.  Luke, I can assist with data vs audio cds, if you need it.

Record Fair:  Looking good, need FB event page, print flyers, DJ lineup and volunteers. We should also put some time and effort into fixing up our exterior signage for the event. We have three of those white sandwich board signs that would all use a little refurbishing (paint, handles, and supports). I also have one new one (from Green Street) that we need to paint up and get ready.

public affairs –  are we going to using that sound cloud account?  public affairs standard?

FA18 Record fair – Sunday October 7th  

SP19 Record Fair – Saturday April 7th

2017 Fall Free Form fest – was Nov 18th (we still need to debrief last year’s event and conceive next year’s event)

Oh – we’ve been nominated for the Best of New Haven reader’s poll (not sure what happened to Hartford’s contest) in the college radio category.   not sure when they will open up voting but wanted to give an alert.
