Beth:

  • vote for work study title to be “station assistant” : 12 votes for the new title — out of 12 board members — confirmed
  • Babe & babe — meeting with clifton in the works
  • It’s time to have an email/communication about 80th committee
  • Suggest budget items!
  • Listen to three shows and put it in the sheet
  • Lets figure out training! Do we need an extra day? Is everyone ready to start? What..is…up

 

Tallulah:

  • Looking for studio folder in studio B
  • Recording promo for project no red zone
  • Ran into derek : doesn’t know where the lost and found cd box is — also curious about the staff joining 80th committee- the answer…is yes!
  • Computer in hallway…is it linked to the wesu google account?

 

Rachel:

  • Finishing third quarter public files
  • Meeting with clifton about MYRP

 

Dillon:

  • Keeping an eye on the volunteer sign up sheet for record fair & he Loves the new way to schedule people…its a google sheet!
  • A few spots for merchandise and set up — trainees?
  • Rachel might be able to get a van from the school which is SICK
  • Information mismatch for the start and end times for the record fair
  • Two more slots are open for DJs — people need to bring their own records~

 

Meg:

  • No updates!! Pretty nice
  • Program guide sent out to the printer

 

Carina:

  • Updating stream rewind/spinatron stuff
  • Working on a wesu.com/service hours link
  • Images don’t populate with articles on front page

 

Ruth & Helly

  • Behind on listening to music because of sickness and business but no worries!!! They will catch up
  • Need to figure out rock & pop room that is overfilled with CDs — find a way to get rid of stuff that is fair
    • Ben: purge w layers to figure things out: bin with chosen “purged” CDs that can be sorted by people
    • Publish a list of the CDs? A bin to sort through?

 

Jack:

  • Re-emphasize that we need to be considerate to other staff members, especially when transitioning shows
  • Email to him from 50s 60s group wants to be on air — how to advertise events…etc
  • 80th at Zandri’s hall? Nice offer! Thanks!

 

Will:

  • Training starts next tuesday!
    • Unsure about the number — we won’t know about attendance until we’re there
    • Followup prep email so people can let us know which session they plan on attending

Babe:

  • Anyone have wild wild live recs/connects?
  • Podcast club? Collaboration

Jake

  • PR for Record Fair
    • Press release is out
    • Facebook push is starting soon
    • Made a promo saved in the “Record Fair Project” Folder

 

Ben

  • Leith Johnson — archival meeting
  • Workstudy position
    • Working with the media we pull out of the archives for anniversary
  • Fall press release
  • Rick on vacation — if you have automation needs address them to Ben
  • 80th Anniversary
    • Keep it (relatively) simple
    • Things we used to do: spotlight week — everyone picks one artist they’re going to focus on for their entire show
