10/14/19 Women in Hip-Hop, Contemporary Black Culture and the Role of College Radio with Akua Naru
WESU is excited to bring acclaimed Hip-Hop artist, producer, activist, and scholar, Akua Naru back to Wesleyan in celebration of WESU’s 80th anniversary. Audience members will experience an intimate conversation with Akua Naru, facilitated by Clifton Watson (PHD), Director of Wesleyan’s Jewett Center for Community Partnerships. The event happens in the heart of the JCCP on the third floor in Wesleyan’s Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life and will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
