WESU Spring Pledge Drive

It’s April again and here in Connecticut, one day the rain is falling and the next the sun is shining and flowers are growing.   Spring is a wonderful time to put on some sweet music and celebrate another new season with WESU Middletown. The Spring 2022 Pledge Drive is officially underway, and without listener support, it would be impossible to broadcast WESU’s unique blend of music and public affairs content. The station’s curation of freeform radio shows is made possible by over 100 volunteer student and community member DJ’s, two part-time employees, and one full-time General Manager. WESU is funded through financial support from Wesleyan University, the Wesleyan Student Assembly, and, most importantly, listeners like you! 

Your donation to WESU allows the station to build upon a successful year of radio following serious challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fall and spring seasons have seen DJs back in the studios after months of remote programming. This spring the station’s long running, established shows continue to provide stellar content to airwaves while twenty-six brand new shows have been added to the roster hosted by newly trained DJs!
WESU staff and volunteers have remained hard at work serving the community 24/7 throughout the pandemic, under less than ideal conditions for volunteer broadcasters.
