WESU Fall 2024 Pledge Drive
This year marks a special milestone for WESU—our 85th anniversary! Since 1939, WESU has been the heart of community radio in the Connecticut River Valley, offering a unique blend of music, news, and public affairs programming that serves listeners who want more than what mainstream media provides.
For 85 years, WESU has been committed to broadcasting diverse and alternative voices, providing a platform for local talent, and delivering programming that informs, entertains, and connects. Whether it’s the public affairs shows from NPR and Pacifica during the day, or the eclectic mix of music and specialty programming from our volunteer DJs at night, WESU offers something for everyone.
Why WESU Needs Your Support
WESU is a non-commercial, community-supported station. We rely on donations from listeners like you to keep the station on the air and continue our important work. In the coming months, we need to raise $30,000 to sustain WESU through the winter and ensure that we can keep broadcasting the programs that matter most to our listeners.
Your donation will help us continue to offer a platform for over 100 volunteer student and community broadcasters, give voice to underserved communities, and provide an alternative to the corporate-driven media landscape.
