Beth:
- First official board meeting! Yay! Explaining how we usually structure this meeting
- Thursdays at 5:30 will be this semester’s meeting time
- To do for me:
- WesAdmits post re: work study — need a little bit more info on it, email to staff with everyone’s board hours + the little calendar i made
- Responsibilities: Mailings, operating logs, scriptwriting for the Jive at Five, record filing/management

- The band is Shopping — still not entirely secured
- Presented by WESU — this is very easy to keep doing!
- Make sure we have the banner up + merch table
- Dividing short term vs long term goals – ways to think about the upcoming year:
- 80th anniversary
- Feast and Fest?
- Record fair
- Structuring staff meetings? Any changes?
- EMAILS! People claiming they aren’t getting emails
- Updating email list
- Email filters flag some WESU messages as spam
Babe:
- Checking out attendance spreadsheet
- How do we want to keep track and/or reach out to people who didn’t show up?
- People may not qualify for a show if they miss over half the meetings
- Spinitron discontent
- Might Bryan make a cheatsheet on the new software?

- Print program guide is almost done!
- Getting to know our programming better — each board member assigned 3 shows to listen to?
- Ensuring DJs are following rules//quality is up to our standards

- Fall record fair should be officially confirmed tomorrow / early next week, but I’ve been assured that we are all set regarding reserving the space
- Smart key costs: room, set up, early open, IMS
- Need WESU-SBC smartkey
- Going to move forward with fielding volunteers since we have ~1 month before the event, moving towards a first come first serve sign up sheet
- Trainees potentially?
- Start planning fundraiser for Spring!
Tallulah:
- Emailing the staff listserv early next week about making promos
- Once training starts encouraging trainees to come in

Rachel:

- Ben spoke with Clifton — leveraging resources at JCCP
- Anyone working with youth should go through university training program
- Miles Brooks has a plan for this week — Traverse kids?
Carina:
- Sent out email to new DJ’s for spinitron accounts
- Spinitron admins receive notification emails
- Started filling in the schedule on Spinitron (Monday – Wednesday morning); I’ll do the rest soon
- Streamrewind schedule TK
Jack:
- Planning next steps of completing Studio A soundproofing. Will donate another day of vacation in October after discussing with Ben. Next up is planning a new floor plan for Studio A that is ergonomic and efficient, providing additional mic positions.
- Available for training makeup nights on Mondays

- Should we ask for something big? It’s our 80th anniversary and the SBC didn’t contribute to our last two items
- 10 grand for the new mixer in studio B
- Committee necessary for anniversary discussions
