As we crack into WESU’s top 100 favorite albums, we see the first album jointly chosen by 4 of our staff members. The selection by a master of jazz whose band members became major figures as solo performers is joined by a number of universally acclaimed recordings.

With today’s entries, we’ve shared 400 of our favorite albums. Although they didn’t crack the top 100, today’s selections remain personal bests of our dedicated staff.
