Board Meeting 3/4
Training – any needs / updates?
-15 people showed up Sunday (12 or so students and 3 community volunteers) – they were into it!
-KC will bring materials back to the station
-In total will probably be 20-25 people; more people expected Thursday
Program –program guide updated?
-HR sent updated version
-Create a template for next semester?
-Process should be faster next semester
Spring Break… – anything here?
-Protocol for coverage à how to structure service hours? Pre-record show for an extra service hour
-Check sign up sheets at station
-Two service hours completed before middle of season starting next season
Recent (Fri night) changes need to be updated in spinitron and stream rewind calendars (BEFORE BREAK PLEASE)

Pledge drive : Following Spring break we need to get into pledge mode ASAP. Can folks try to write up some pledge scripts over break so we can get right into recording them…?
Should be getting press release ready for this too, as it will need to go out as soon as Break is over.
-Pledge promos: need to get on these to get into pledge drive mode quickly
Staff resource page (WESUFM.org/STAFF) any updates on this or staff resource page?

Clean up outdated shows on stream rewind? There are many shows listed that are no longer on air. Can Hanna cross reference? Ben can then double check list and then maybe Nate can delete?
-HR and NB did this; should be all set
Events:
Record fair: Flyer??? Have we gotten them downtown? This should be done before break.
-Let’s get posters on both sides of the all of the door to/from the station to ensure staff is aware.
-We should also produce a new Promo – just so we have more than one in rotation.
– Any word on Argus advertising? Need to be poised to blitz wesleying, Middletown eye, and more upon the end of break.

-Another promo should get out since there is still a month left
75th anniversary “Community radio that matters” ????
-New slogan? New branding
-Should we have a brand? Or just put out a couple things that work
-We like the looser idea; maybe have a design around new slogan?
75th logo(s) thoughts on no “75” reference… ?
– merch ideas – we need to get these lined up so that we can kick pledge drive off first week of april.
-Consensus is to not add 75; we like the idea to add the years
75 years of” radio show still needs our input. Homework – All Board members need to submit at least 2 titles each for April (poetry), and May (Wes connected) before leaving town for break.

Oldies concert update: GRRR got word today that Headliner, Fred Parris and The Five Satins can’t do 4/19. Ben M is waiting to hear back from venue about other dates. 5/17 was suggested by Band Management
-See if we can get a later date; this would allow more time to promote
-Ben will keep us posted; goal to have it before everybody leaves
Death in concert? Ben M doesn’t think we can do this without departmental or student group support
The numbers just won’t work unless we can get a little heklp offsetting the overhgead. Does anyone have any connections or ideas?
Any word on alumni update/email feeling out interest support for “gala” and wes seminar?
