Tonight down in New Haven at Toad’s Place, it’s their weekly dubstep dance party. Thursday Reggae Legend Beres (sounds like Barris) Hammond will be performing on the main stage. Friday Night Hip Hop Emcee Action Bronson will be headlining a show featuring local Hip Hop acts Duece Bug, Phenom and Rowdy City at 8pm. Thursday at 9pm Indie Rock band Baby Grand Perform w/ Fightwinner at Cafe Nine. On Friday Night TACO HUT MUSIC Presents • The Proud Flesh, Speakeasy, Heads With Wings, and White Walls. Café nine’s Saturday afternoon Jazz Jam will be hosted by Gary Grippo and Friends this week. Tonight Cinestudio, the Trinity College cinema in Hartford, opens a run of “The Pirates, Band of Misfits” from the Animators who created Wallace & Gromit, for a new stop-motion animated movie set in the rollicking pirate realm.
